Paper-Based Compostable iPad Case

Ecolibrium Compostable Products is a California-based company with a mission to create compostable alternatives to everyday products. Their first product, the Compostable iPad Case, is made using paper-based materials and a small amount of plastic-free glue. For branding, they utilize blind embossing to avoid printing since most inks contain plastic. The vast majority of iPad cases are made from plastic materials, and customers don’t know how to responsibly dispose of the cases at end-of-life. This first-of-its-kind paper-based case is remarkably durable, functional, and easy to recycle, setting a new standard in electronic accessories.
