Designed for the unique context of a columbarium, this project honors the deceased with dignity while offering thoughtful consideration for visiting families. Instead of decorative finishes, the design began by redefining the structure and meaning of the unit itself. A closed-door concept encourages quiet focus on each individual, while a minimal structure maximizes interior space. Precision-crafted aluminum framing and a sliding nameplate with an integrated lock reflect the union of form and function. Subtle embossed patterns on the ceramic surface evoke quiet memories and offer a tender, respectful link to those who are no longer with us.
